Cellar door sales. Visit the distillery and cellars. Award-winning agricultural made calvados, pommeau and cider of high quality. Etienne Dupont has been in charge of the domain since 1980, when he took over from his father Louis and his grandfather Jules. Etienne learned the art of double distillation in Cognac. He has used this knowledge successfully in combination with the old traditions of the domain. He also worked in close partnership with an oenologist and has improved the 27 hectares of orchards, about 6000 trees. Further ten hectares of the estate’s version of ‘free’ grown low-stem apple trees have been planted with typical varieties. 1931 and some of the most recent vintages and blends are represented at many restaurants, among them the Taillevent in Paris. The Dupont range is not only high quality, but has a classic and elegant, yet modern ‘look’ as well. The range includes Original ‘Générique’ (2 years), Vieille Réserve, VSOP (8 years), Hors d'Age (10–12 years), 1972, 1974 (non-reduced), 1976, 1962, Captive Apple, pommeau, cider and vinegar. |
